Muscular nomenclature and kinesiology is the art of being able to name, locate, and understand the movements of muscles along with the bones they are attached to.
This class will guide you through the movements, attachments, and originations of the major muscles in the body. Upon completion of this class, the student will be able to define the origin, insertion, and movement of the muscles of the scapula, the hip, knee and ankle, head, and neck. This class includes a lecture along with palpating each muscle.
Students, please bring a set of sheets and a large towel. There is a maximum of 16 students for this class.
