Reflexology Certification
Program Objectives
Students will receive a 200-hour certificate of completion in Reflexology. This program will cover the basics of reflexology including the history, benefits, and effects of reflexology as well as the principles and techniques in creating and applying a session. The Reflexology class at The Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks will educate you in related anatomy & physiology, professionalism, ethics, business, client intakes, assessment, and documentation. You will also become familiar with hand reflexology as well as proper body mechanics.
Your clients* will benefit from Reflexology in so many ways including but not limited to: improved nerve function, increased circulation, elimination of toxins, nervous system stimulation, reduction of headaches, relaxation, boosting of energy levels, speeds healing, and eases the side effects of cancer treatments!
*You do not have to be a licensed massage therapist to become a trained reflexologist!
Program Timeframe
The reflexology program is a 200-hour program that will make you a certified reflexologist.
The class is 4-1/2 months and can be done during the day or the evening.
Day classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm. Evening classes run every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm.
