Early Cancellation

If you cancel your agreement with the Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks within 5 calendar days after the date you sign, the school will, within 30 days, refund 100% of any monies you have paid to the school including the enrollment fee. 

If you cancel your agreement more than 5 days after the date on which you sign but prior to the start of the program; or if you never actually attended the Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks, the school will refund your tuition LESS the enrollment fee within 30 days.

If prior to the program start date, you are forced to cancel your agreement with the Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks, due to personal illness or incapacity attested to by a licensed health care provider, or because you have been inducted into the armed services, the school will, within 30 days, refund 100% of any monies you have paid to the school to include the enrollment fee

Withdrawal or Dismissal after Program Start Date

Withdrawal – If you withdraw from the program after the start date and more than 5 calendar days after the day on which you sign the enrollment agreement, but prior to the completion of 50% of the program, you will, within 30 days of your last recorded date of attendance, receive a partial refund of the tuition fee as set forth below. The program consist of two terms of 12 weeks. You must submit your withdrawal in writing to validate your actual withdrawal date.

  1. For a student withdrawing from or discontinuing the program during the first 7 calendar days of the term, the tuition refunded by the school shall be at least 75% of the paid tuition for the term.
  2. A student withdrawing from or discontinuing the program after the first 7 calendar days, but within the first 25% of the term, the tuition refunded by the school shall be at least 55% of the paid tuition for the term.
  3. For a student withdrawing or discontinuing after 25% but within at least 50% of the term, the tuition refunded by the school shall be at least 30% of the paid tuition.
  4. Students completing 50% of their program do not qualify for any refund.

Dismissal – The Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks reserves the right to dismiss students. The reasons for dismissal include, but are not limited to, falsification of any information required by the admissions process, a violation of the honor system, academic failure, inappropriate or disruptive conduct, drug or alcohol abuse, or attendance policy violations. In addition, you may be dismissed from the school if you violate any of the terms or conditions of the enrollment agreement.
