Range of Motion Cupping with Release

Range of Motion Cupping or Cupping with Release will replicate Pin and Stretch, Pin, and Release or ART with cups. Cups will be placed on various areas of the body and then put the various muscle groups through a range of motion. This will allow a deeper release of the stagnation and inflammation. This allows the client to experience a deeper release and relief from pain.
We will be performing these techniques on various muscle groups on the upper and lower body, such as traps, rhomboids, lats, pectorals, quadratus lumborum, SI area, glute medius, hamstring, gastroc, soleus, tibialis anterior, quadriceps, TFL, biceps, triceps, upper traps, scalenes, SCM, wrist flexors and extensors.
The class is very participative and the student receives cupping set with the class but is encouraged to bring set from Jim’s Cupping 1 class with them. No prerequisite is necessary but having taken Cupping 1 is highly encouraged.
Each therapist receives a 12 piece cupping set.
Supplies: All students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a set of sheets (headrest cover, too) and massage cream of their preference.
Parking is limited to three hours in front of AMTB; students should refrain from parking in front of AMTB and other High Street businesses. There is a paid parking lot located on Hanover Street (across from Sherwin Williams). Students can pay for parking using the kiosk or the Park Mobile App. We recommend that students download the parking app and add their license plate and credit card information prior to coming to class. Park where you are comfortable, but AMTB is not responsible for student vehicles or parking fines.
