DESCRIPTION:Lymphatic Drainage Massage Level Two \nTime: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM \nCost: $369 \nCEs: 16 \nInstructor:  Wilda Del Carmen\, LMT \nThis intermediate-level course builds upon foundational knowledge\, offering a deeper understanding of the lymphatic system and its role in overall health. Students will explore the history and benefits of lymphatic drainage massage\, learning advanced techniques for addressing conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome\, joint surgeries\, ankle injuries\, and abdominal discomfort. The course covers detailed anatomy and physiology\, distinguishing between normal and diseased lymphatic states\, as well as the effects of lymph flow on various body systems. Participants will gain hands-on experience with full-body drainage techniques\, specialized upper and lower extremity protocols\, and proper client positioning and draping. Emphasis is placed on recognizing contraindications and adapting techniques to safely integrate lymphatic drainage into massage sessions. \nPrerequisite: Completion of the Manual Lymphatic Drainage Level 1 two-day course with Wilda Del Carmen is required before enrolling in Level 2.  \nSupplies: Sheets\, blanket or towel\, and wear comfortable clothing \nParking: Please be mindful of parking in front of AMTB and other High Street businesses.  There is a paid parking lot on Hanover Street and can be paid using the ParkMobile app.
