DESCRIPTION:Structural Integration for the Hips\, Pelvis\, and Low Back \nInstructor: Angie Wrightstone \nNCBTMB Provider #1000192 \nBCTMB # 575376-09 \nPA License # MSG002316 \nCE Credits – 8 hours \nCost – $250 \nThis course focuses on the connective tissue (fascia) of the pelvic girdle including structures that relate to the pelvis\, hips and lower back. Techniques taught encourage the body to maintain better alignment and balance which results in less energy to function. Structural Bodywork theory\, foundational concepts and techniques are used to lengthen tissue and facilitate a client’s positive relationship with gravity. The pelvis is known as the keystone of the body\, connecting the lower half to the upper half. Therapists will learn to identify and affect common pathologies and patterns of dysfunction. A review of the anatomy of the pelvis in relationship to structure and function is covered in this course. \n  \nParking is limited to three hours in front of AMTB; students should refrain from parking in front of AMTB and other High Street businesses.  There is a paid parking lot located on Hanover Street (across from Sherwin Williams).  Students can pay for parking using the kiosk or the Park Mobile App.  We recommend that students download the parking app and add their license plate and credit card information prior to coming to class. Park where you are comfortable\, but AMTB is not responsible for student vehicles or parking fines.  \n

Review the anatomy of the foot\, ankle and crus in relationship to function and development.
